Key Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiography procedures with independence, using your technical expertise to ensure accurate and timely results.
  • Verify patient identification and explain the procedure to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide documentation and reporting of echocardiography procedures, adhering to regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with prevailing requirements, JCAHO standards, OSHA regulations, and state or federal statutes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a two-year AMA program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation.
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (R.D.C.S.) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (R.C.S.) certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in echocardiography.
  • CPR certification.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Exemplary level of professionalism and leadership.
