Join Middlesex College's Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning Department as a part-time, non-credit instructor to teach the Electrocardiograph (ECG/EKG) Technician course. This role is not an adjunct position, but rather a teaching opportunity within our Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach 60 hours, 5 days a week, for 12 sessions, covering Anatomy, Physiology, and Medical Terminology, as well as Safe and Accurate use of the EKG device.
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans to adult learners.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous teaching experience.
  • Experience teaching adult learners.
  • Three years of experience working as an ECG/EKG clinical supervisor or technician.
  • Ability to teach in Edison, New Brunswick, or Perth Amboy.
  • Current certification as an ECG/EKG Technician or as a provider requiring EKG/EKG skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience teaching in higher education.
