  • Maintain current knowledge and standards of professional nursing practices, staying up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based guidelines.
  • Assume shift charge nurse responsibilities when assigned, overseeing patient care assignments and directing staff as needed.
  • Participate in quality process improvements in the department, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing, preferred.
  • Current RN license for the State of Texas or current compact state license.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience working with electronic medical records systems.
  • Consistent work history and longevity with previous employers.
