Job SummaryAs a Lot Attendant at Landers McLarty Subaru, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical lot and building, as well as ensuring the proper display and organization of vehicle inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all inventory vehicles are clean and presentable to the public.
  • Inform management of any issues related to the physical condition of vehicles that may impact their sale.
  • Verify that dealership plate frames are attached to the rear of all inventory vehicles.
  • Responsible for ensuring dealership advertising plates are attached to the front of all inventory vehicles.
  • Ensure all wholesale vehicles are stored in designated areas in the additional inventory lot.
  • Verify that all used vehicles on payoff are stored in the specified area in the additional inventory lot.
  • Ensure all vehicles awaiting title are stored in the specified area and clearly marked as waiting for title.
  • Verify that all other vehicles are displayed in the appropriate areas, including vehicles waiting for works check, vehicles waiting to be cleaned, and vehicles for stock.
  • Responsible for maintaining the additional lot and ensuring it is organized according to Ira sales management specifications.
  • Immediately replace sold vehicles or empty spaces with fresh inventory.
  • Verify that if open spaces are being filled, the most marketable inventory is being used first.
  • Ensure all new vehicles have factory stickers displayed and addendum stickers if applicable.
  • Verify that all used vehicles in inventory are displayed with Limited Warranty information, Buyer's Guide information, and a vehicle selling price.
  • Properly monitor and maintain all keys, both new and used.
  • Responsible for checking in all new vehicle inventory from the manufacturer.
  • Note any and all damage to new vehicles being delivered by carrier according to Ira and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Perform services related to interior maintenance and/or odd jobs as needed.
  • Responsible for checking in all used vehicle inventory from any given automobile auction or other source.
  • Ensure the vehicle lot is properly maintained and cleaned at all times.
  • Follow federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policy, regarding the safeguarding of all information.
  • Report to work on time and follow the schedule provided, calling the supervisor if unable to be at work on time.
  • Stay current with annual HR training and any other training required for this position.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, and inform the supervisor of any illegal activity.
