CareSTL Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries of human internal organ systems, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care to adult and geriatric patients, including acute and chronic medical and health maintenance care.
- Participate in the health center's Performance Improvement program and assist in the formulation and implementation of the health center's healthcare plan.
- Practice Evidence-Based Medicine and Patient-Centered medicine.
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHRs) for clinical documentation, ordering and reviewing labs and radiology, and clearing tasks in a timely manner.
- Maintain required medical licenses, certifications, and credentials.
- MD/DO from an accredited university.
- Completed ACGME-accredited residency training in internal medicine.
- Board eligible or board certified as an internist licensed to practice in the state of Missouri.
- Effective clinical and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Supervisory responsibility for medical students, nurse practitioners, and other mid-level staff.
- Copy of board certification as an internist licensed to practice in the state of Missouri.
- Current registration with the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry.
- Maintain hospital-admitting privileges at appropriate hospitals.
- Meet criteria for Meaningful Use of the Electronic Health Record.
- Annual PPD or chest X-ray.
- Clinic hours: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- 11 paid holidays per year.
- Full benefits package.
- Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
