Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist II to join our team at TSI USA. As a Machinist II, you will be responsible for performing machining and fitting of all kinds of parts, tools, and machines in support of production operations or job shop machining for engineering prototypes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate all available machine tools, including manual mills, turret lathes, and CNC mills and CNC lathes.
  • Perform tool adjustments and programming as needed.
  • Work from complex blueprints, process sheets, and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions.
  • Check and inspect machining operations against specified tolerances.
  • May identify and repair machine malfunctions.
  • Work as an effective team member in the department.
  • Participate in cross-training and serve as a technical resource for less experienced machinists.
  • Collaborate with the Production Supervisor to establish annual individual goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2-year graduate of Voc-tech machinist or 3+ years of experience preferred.
  • Minimum three years Machinist experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in a high-technology environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to run CNC and manual machines and to perform basic programming as needed.
  • Ability to apply acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
