Job Summary

Class Produce Group LLC is seeking a reliable and skilled Shuttle Driver to join our team. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for evaluating and selecting bulk produce orders, loading and unloading trucks, and delivering products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Evaluation and Selection: Carefully review and choose bulk produce orders according to the pick sheet to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Truck Operations: Safely operate a truck, adhering to Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) regulations, and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Delivery and Loading: Load and unload trucks, making local deliveries to customers as directed.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a good working knowledge of produce products, including their characteristics, handling requirements, and storage conditions.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete required paperwork and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Two or more years of experience driving a truck, with a valid Class C License required. Class A or B Commercial Driver's License preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Basic arithmetic skills, ability to read and write English, and good communication skills.
Working Conditions

The Shuttle Driver will work in a fast-paced environment, frequently exposed to wet, loud, cold, and/or humid conditions. The employee will regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
