- Provide Quality Care: Deliver exceptional care to residents in post-acute care facilities
- Create Care Plans: Collaborate with medical staff and residents to develop personalized care plans
- Administer Medications: Safely administer medications to residents as needed
- Review Care Options: Work with physicians and other staff to review care options and outcomes
- Educate Residents and Family Members: Educate residents and family members about best options for care
- Monitor Medical Equipment: Set up and monitor medical equipment as needed
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure staff compliance with nursing standards and facility policies
- Draw Fluids for Lab Analysis: Draw fluids, such as blood and urine, for lab analysis
- Train and Supervise Staff: Train and supervise nurses and support staff as needed
- Document Medical Interventions: Accurately document medical interventions and histories
- Investigate Incidents: Help staff with incident investigations
Requirements: Graduation from an approved nursing program and at least 4 months of post-acute care or in-patient hospital experience. COVID-19 vaccination required.
