Job Summary:

Auburn Medical Center is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Acute Therapy department. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in implementing physical therapy treatment plans and performing physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement physical therapy treatment plans and perform physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.
  • Support the health and healing of physical therapy patients by applying current physical therapy concepts with a service-oriented approach.
  • Perform documentation in the medical record that is timely and accurate.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and other health professionals in the coordination of care for patients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in physical therapy in an adult acute care, orthopedic, neurology, gerontology, and/or oncology setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
