Job Summary:
Shrub Oak International School is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Worker and Steward to join our team. As a key member of our dining services team, you will be responsible for serving fully prepared food and snacks to our students and staff in a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner for our students and staff
- Handle hot and cold beverages and snacks throughout the day
- Clean up after meals and snacks in the kitchen, cafeteria, and serving areas
- Receive and store deliveries in a timely and efficient manner
- Follow all food safety and cleanliness procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service to our students and staff, ensuring their needs are met and their experience is positive
Requirements:
- Knowledge of general food serving requirements
- Solid client service orientation for special needs students
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
Compensation: Up to $15/hour depending on experience
