Job Title: Road Supervisor

Transdev is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Road Supervisor to join our team. As a Road Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our transportation services.

Job Summary:

The Road Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and supporting drivers, monitoring routes, and addressing any issues that arise during transit. This position requires a strong understanding of transportation regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and monitor driver safety and performance in compliance with legal, employment, and labor policy matters.
  • Conduct on-the-scene accident investigations and assist drivers in preparing accident reports, OSHA reports, and safety violations documents.
  • Organize and host driver training and safety courses, train new drivers, and retrain drivers involved in accidents.
  • Observe drivers on the road, correct safety problems on the scene, and document violations.
  • Liaison between drivers and the organization in customer service concerns.
  • Assist the Safety Manager with DOT/FTA compliance, drug testing, and recordkeeping.
  • Drive routes periodically and assist with dispatching, driving, and miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed.
  • Provide behind-the-wheel instruction according to corporate and client specifications in all aspects of vehicle operation and passenger transportation.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of related work experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant leadership experience.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License with passenger and airbrake endorsements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Work extended hours regularly, including Saturday and Sunday.
  • Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
