Senior Pastry Artisan

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced baker to join our team at Market of Choice. As a Scratch Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a wide range of high-quality baked goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts.

• Read and interpret recipes to ensure accurate ingredient preparation and baking techniques.
• Utilize mathematical skills to assemble ingredients and measure quantities for scratch preparations.
• Bake all of our baked products, including bread, pastries, and desserts, to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
• Prepare and apply frostings and custards to our baked goods.
• Provide professional and courteous communication to maintain positive relations with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Maintain accurate store records and perform general cleaning duties.

• At least 1 year of professional scratch baking experience.
• Open availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
