Cook County Health is seeking a highly skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join our esteemed team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to patients from across the greater Chicago area.
Responsibilities- Assist with the day-to-day operations of the department, under the direction of the Department Chair.
- Ensure that the division provides high-quality services that meet national and local standards of care.
- Participate in Quality and Safety activities to drive continuous improvement.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy Medicine (DO) from an accredited college or university.
- Licensed as a Physician in the State of Illinois or obtain license prior to starting employment.
- Valid Illinois Controlled Substance license and Federal Drug Enforcement Administration licensure.
- Completion of an ACGME accredited or equivalent residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Successful completion of an ACGME approved maternal fetal medicine fellowship.
- At least 2 years of previous experience.
