Key Responsibilities- Assess and admit patients, conducting thorough evaluations to identify individual needs and develop effective care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, communicate effectively with families and caregivers, and promote a culture of safety and respect.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in surgical nursing.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina or Virginia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on patient-centered care and teamwork.
