Job Title: Classroom Tutor

A Plus Learning Center LLC seeks a skilled and enthusiastic Classroom Tutor to assist in the instruction of math and reading skills to students. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and enjoy working with children.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Kumon Instructor in delivering high-quality learning experiences to students, maintaining accurate student records, and assisting with center operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support students in oral reading, reading comprehension, and math skills from basic arithmetic to calculus
  • Maintain student study records, including completion times and scores
  • Assist with day-to-day center operations, such as grading papers and preparing materials

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of Calculus between senior year of high school and sophomore year of college or a college degree
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of the job
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation: $18-$22 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
