We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Center For Discovery. As a key member of our residential eating disorder treatment team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Informing personnel (i.e. UR, psychiatry, dietician) of new admissions when appropriate.
- Administering and documenting vital signs, CIW - As, COWS (SUD only), collecting data for fall assessments/precautions, seizure precautions, suicidal/homicidal assessments.
- Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with eating disorders, including medication management and education.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records.
- Current LVN or LPN licensure in the state of employment.
- Experience working with patients with eating disorders and mental health conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
