Job Title: Compliance and Ethics Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Ethics Specialist to join our team at Rose International. As a key member of our legal team, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing our Compliance and Ethics program, ensuring that our company adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the Compliance and Ethics program, including the Code of Conduct, corporate policies, and procedures.
  • Be the subject matter expert on Compliance and Ethics topics and the Code of Conduct.
  • Conduct intake and support of Compliance and Ethics matters.
  • Engage in prompt fact-finding, root cause, and corrective action planning.
  • Conduct regular testing of controls to ensure the Compliance and Ethics program is operating well.
  • Implement and manage Compliance and Ethics matter management and tracking system, and prepare regular reports of case management data.
  • Maintain records and databases related to the Compliance and Ethics matter management system.
  • Correlate and collaborate with other areas of the business in creating future business planning proposals.
  • Manage relationships with each business unit regarding Compliance and Ethics topics.
  • Maintain an understanding of battery operations and data points for use in Compliance and Ethics theme planning.
  • Coordinate priority Compliance and Ethics topics with HR, Legal, GRC, and other Company stakeholders.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal, compliance, and industry changes and best practices.
  • Implement the continuous improvement mindset to improve and adapt the Compliance and Ethics Program.
  • Assist with preparation of plans, policies, documents, and reports, organizational charts, business and budget planning, and associate handbook updates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Master's or Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree preferred, but not required.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in compliance and ethics work, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or similar certification preferred, but not required.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of compliance programs and processes.
  • Experience in conducting internal investigations.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of laws, regulations, and guidelines related to Compliance and Ethics.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Prompt and regular attendance within our onsite operations.

Additional Requirements:

  • This role may require up to 10% of travel (domestic and/or international).
