Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting hard floor maintenance, including dusting and damp mopping.
- Managing carpet and furniture upkeep through vacuuming, spot cleaning, and shampooing.
- Handling waste management, including the collection and disposal of trash, soiled linens, and recyclables, along with replacing liners in receptacles.
- Cleaning various surfaces, such as dusting, damp wiping, and spot cleaning of vents, light fixtures, and window ledges.
- Maintaining restroom cleanliness by sanitizing fixtures and restocking supplies.
- Ensuring cleanliness in assigned areas, including stairwells, elevators, and common spaces, as well as caring for furniture and equipment.
- Changing curtains, draperies, and shades as needed.
- Utilizing electric and battery-operated cleaning equipment and assisting with furniture rearrangement.
- Collecting necessary supplies, managing regulated medical waste, and responding to emergencies while wearing protective gear as required.
- Removing soiled linens and protective coverings, and preparing beds, stretchers, and exam tables.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
- Basic arithmetic skills, including addition and subtraction.
- Capability to understand and respond to simple verbal and written instructions.
- Professional demeanor when interacting with patients and visitors.
