We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at McLaren USA. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in helping patients achieve their maximum potential and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify deficits in daily living activities and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with patients to establish goals and priorities, and select therapeutic interventions to address specific impairments.
- Conduct ongoing reassessments of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to ancillary staff and students, ensuring compliance with state laws and department policies.
- Maintain accurate and clear documentation of patient care, adhering to department policies and accreditation requirements.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare teams to promote optimal care and outcomes.
- Participate in professional growth and development through education and training, staying current with best practices and scope of practice.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Current State Board of Occupational Therapy licensure.
- BLS certification.
- Preferred: One year of occupational therapy experience and registration through the National Board Certificate for Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
