Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team as a K-12 School Speech Language Pathologist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing speech therapy services to students in a school setting.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students' speech and language abilities to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals.
  • Monitor and track student progress towards IEP goals, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide speech therapy services in individual or small group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of evaluations, progress notes, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate speech goals into classroom activities, promoting a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational goal setting, ensuring that students receive the support they need to succeed.
Requirements
  • Current Massachusetts State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
  • PDE Teaching Certificate.
  • Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required.
