We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in designing and developing our conversational AI and clinical automation platforms. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and healthcare experts to create innovative software solutions that facilitate seamless communication between patients, medical professionals, and healthcare systems.

Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex software systems">
  • Act in an engineering capacity to build and produce clinical systems that integrate with AI/ML and medical tooling like Multum, MedRT, Snomed, and more">
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize high-quality code to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our software products">
  • Participate in architectural discussions and provide technical guidance to ensure the adoption of best practices and alignment with the overall technology roadmap">
  • Work closely with data scientists, product managers, and engineering peers to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver features in a timely manner">
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment">
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality and adherence to coding standards">
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in software and data engineering, conversational AI, clinical automation, and healthcare IT">

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field">
  • 8+ years of experience in cloud development, architecture, and deployment">
  • Strong development experience in Java, Python, C++, C#, or similar OO languages">
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)">
  • Experience driving feature design reviews, documentation">
  • Experience in the healthcare technology domain a plus">
  • Experience working with knowledge graphs a plus">
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills">

Estimated Salary: $130,350 - $187,500 per annum
