We are looking for dedicated Maintenance Assistants (Full-time and Part-Time) to support one of Minnesota's premier nonprofit senior housing and service organizations.

Position Overview:
This role is essential for ensuring the upkeep and repair of our facilities and equipment. The Maintenance Assistant will assist in managing maintenance requests and collaborate with the Facilities Director on preventive maintenance tasks.

Available Shifts:
- Full-time: 7:00am - 3:30pm, with a requirement to work one weekend per month.
- Part-Time: 7:00am - 3:30pm, also requiring one weekend per month.

Location Insights:
Saint Therese provides a comprehensive range of care and services across our four Twin Cities communities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily janitorial tasks in common areas and manage floor care (including carpeting).
- Conduct timely maintenance and repairs on facility infrastructure and equipment.

Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred. Vocational training in a related field is advantageous.
Experience:
- At least one year of relevant experience in a commercial or healthcare setting is preferred.

Essential Skills:
- Low pressure steam boilers license is a plus.
- Proficient knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
- Quick learner capable of handling various tasks.
- Physical capability to perform manual labor.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
