Job Summary

Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and treatment in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and implement respiratory techniques to maintain and progress patient rehabilitation.
  • Initiate therapies, maintain accurate patient records, and operate, check, and assemble equipment as needed.
  • Complete a variety of bedside treatments, including oxygen weaning therapy, aerosol therapy, and incentive spirometry.
  • Provide in-services for nursing staff on a quarterly basis and complete daily, weekly, and monthly documentation.
  • Attend interdisciplinary team meetings and participate in caseload management.
  • Utilize experience with tracheotomy and long-term care settings to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Follow facility procedures and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a COARC-accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
  • Licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
  • Licensed in the state in which practicing and BLS certification.
Work Environment

This is a part-time, per diem opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $35.00. The ideal candidate will be able to relocate to the North Randall, OH area prior to starting work.
