Job Summary:
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation team. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with a team of clinicians to help patients achieve their individualized goals and milestones.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Manage a patient case load of 10-12 patients per day, providing timely and accurate documentation using Therapy Source.
- Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including medical notes and surgery reports, to inform treatment decisions.
- Ensure accurate transcription and processing of medical orders.
- Promote continuous quality improvement and provide instruction and counseling to patients and families as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
- Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.
