The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with colleagues to achieve exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to residents and their families, promoting health literacy and self-advocacy.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks and responsibilities to licensed and unlicensed personnel as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with a Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where the practice of nursing is occurring, with multistate licensure accepted if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
- Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
