The Special Education Program Coordinator is responsible for the development and execution of special education initiatives and services in alignment with district guidelines and applicable state and federal regulations. This role involves providing written documentation and sharing information effectively, acting as a resource for families and educational staff, as well as the governing body, while ensuring sufficient staffing to meet the objectives of the programs and services within the allocated budget.


Job Location:
Office and Field role in Pasadena CA and Los Angeles CA

Full-Time, Salary:
$71K-100K per year

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducting assessments
2. Delivering educational instruction
3. Traveling for office and field duties
4. Managing case files
5. Performing additional responsibilities related to the position

Knowledge, Skills & Other Requirements:
- Must be legally eligible to work in California
- Bachelor's degree in special education from an accredited institution - Master's degree preferred
- BCLAD Certification is preferred but not mandatory
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and advanced knowledge of PowerPoint
- Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Credential
- Valid Driver's License

Compensation packages are tailored based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related considerations.
