Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively as a key team member in a dynamic and fast-paced technological setting.
- Utilize troubleshooting methodologies to address technical issues of varying complexity, including hardware and operating system integration.
- Oversee the installation and configuration of both hardware and operating systems.
- This role requires full-time onsite engagement.
Essential Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree combined with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or 6 years of directly applicable experience.
- Possession of an active and transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance is mandatory prior to the commencement of employment.
- Proficiency in either Linux or Windows operating systems is required.
- Experience with Active Directory, VMware, system administration, and backup/recovery processes is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification at DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level 2 or higher.
- Familiarity with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS, and/or DoD/RMF standards.
- Extensive experience with Windows Server environments.
- Knowledge of data storage solutions, including NAS and SAN technologies.
- Experience with the Information Technology project lifecycle management methodologies.
- Proficient in using VMware vCenter, vSphere, and ESX or other virtualization technologies.
- Support experience for engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
- Experience in High Performance Computing (HPC) within a Linux framework.
- Capability to enhance system security using tools like SCAP and adhering to STIG guidelines.
- Experience with Enterprise Active Directory (AD) and LDAP.
- Familiarity with scripting languages.
