Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, design, implement, and engage in rehabilitation programs aimed at enhancing mobility, alleviating discomfort, increasing strength, and addressing disabling conditions stemming from illness or injury.
- Deliver interventions, treatments, and therapies in accordance with established patient care protocols.
- Record resident care activities by documenting in patient and departmental records following accepted regulatory, corporate, and professional standards.
- Collaborate and communicate with other healthcare professionals involved in patient management.
- Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatments, preventive measures, and care improvement strategies.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment by adhering to facility policies, rules, and regulations.
- Ensure care quality by following therapeutic standards; assessing health outcomes against patient care objectives and facility or regulatory benchmarks.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have graduated from an accredited Rehabilitation Therapy program.
- Must possess an active Rehabilitation Specialist license in the state of Florida.
- Proven ability to manage physical workload effectively.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- No weekend shifts required.
Compensation:
- Hourly range: $43.07
