Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Processing: Read and comprehend order paperwork and blueprints to ensure accurate packaging and shipping.
  • Inventory Management: Use item tracking software to manage inventory and print paperwork as needed.
  • Quality Control: Verify the job is complete before it leaves the facility, ensuring that all products meet our high standards.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Assist with loading and unloading the delivery truck, as well as UPS and Speedy delivery pickups.
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean and well-stocked working environment, adhering to our company's commitment to Lean Culture.
  • Training and Development: Cross-train in other areas during department downtime and complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Measuring and Mathematical Skills: Possess measuring skills on a tape measure to the nearest 1/16th of an inch and basic mathematical understanding, including fractions and decimals.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Demonstrate strong listening and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, or stepstools on an occasional basis, and move objects of varying weights in all directions.

Our manufacturing facility is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with occasional exposure to high temperatures, noisy environments, and airborne particles. As a Packaging Specialist, you will be working in a team-oriented setting, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
