We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our Medical Surgical Unit team at Research Medical Center. Key Responsibilities- Direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Serve as a resource person for staff and model a commitment to the organization's vision, mission, and values.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a leadership or coordinator role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions.
