Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sanitation Manager to oversee the cleaning and sanitizing of all processing plant equipment at Peco Foods. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and supervision skills to ensure the highest standards of sanitation and safety in our facilities.

Responsibilities

* Supervise a team of approximately 50 hourly sanitation employees and direct supervise 1 salary sanitation supervisor
* Verify weekly payroll for the department and ensure all SSOP and required documentation are submitted daily
* Provide training on chemical handling, safety procedures, and cleaning of production equipment to sanitation employees
* Perform special projects assigned by the plant manager and comply with all written corporate and plant safety policies
* Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal behavior to the plant manager

Physical Demands

* Ability to lift over various weights on an as needed basis
* Standing and/or walking 100% of the work day
* Ability to work in a cold/wet/damp environment
* Ability to climb, stoop, bend, and use tools

Requirements

* 1 to 2 years of Sanitation Supervisory experience
* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Preferred Qualification: College Degree in Poultry Science or another agriculture discipline and 3-5 years of Sanitation Supervisory experience in a poultry processing facility
* Bilingual
