Steam Generator Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Steam Generator Technician to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation and implementation of work on the primary side of the steam generator.
Key Responsibilities- Set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot steam generator field service equipment at customer sites, utilizing various technologies and systems.
- Perform service center support functions, including equipment maintenance, decontamination, and calibration activities.
- Work under general supervision, with a high degree of quality, and within the parameters of qualified procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and document all quality-related issues.
- Develop and promote team-building skills with peers, supervisors, contractors, customers, and other departments.
- Demonstrate good customer sensitivity and customer service skills.
- Participate in performance-based training programs to acquire and maintain certifications, as well as stay current with technology.
- Participate in safety training to acquire the skills and knowledge to perform work in hazardous environments and operate safety equipment and systems.
- High school graduate or recognized equivalent (minimum). Prefer Associate's degree or Bachelor's in electronics or other technical field.
- Non-destructive test experience desired but not required.
- Specific knowledge and training in electrical, electronic, or mechanical curriculum.
- Strong oral and written skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
