Janitorial Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to join our team at Chula Vista Elementary School District. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our schools and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance tasks in assigned facilities, including classrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students and staff.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and protocols to meet the needs of our facilities.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in janitorial or facilities maintenance preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer service and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies, as well as stand for long periods of time.
