Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare motions, covering hearings, and preparing clients for depositions and attending depositions as well
  • Handle files from open to close, with a focus on civil litigation defense
  • Draft initial reports, interim reports, pre-trial reports, trials, appellate activity, and discovery-related documents
  • Regularly attend court appearances and take and defend depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses
  • Draft motions for summary judgment and participate in 1st or 2nd chair trial experience
