Job Summary

Duncan Aviation is seeking a highly skilled Satellite Avionics Technician II to join our team. As a key member of our avionics team, you will be responsible for performing complex avionics and instrument repairs, testing, and troubleshooting on a variety of aircraft systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of avionics and instrument systems to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, FARs, and industry standards.
  2. Repair, remove, and replace avionics and instrument components and systems using various hand tools and test equipment.
  3. Assist bench technicians in resolving discrepancies in avionics and instrument components and systems.
  4. Provide on-the-job training to less experienced technicians to ensure technician development and accurate work.
  5. Communicate and interact professionally with internal and external customers to educate and answer questions regarding the technical functions of the customer's aircraft.
  6. Maintain and clean line maintenance test equipment and work area as required.
  7. Attend factory and company technical classes to increase technical skills and proficiency.
Requirements
  • Associates degree in avionics, electronics, airframe/engine maintenance, or a related field.
  • Minimum two years of avionics, electronics, airframe maintenance, or related experience.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Eligibility for Repairman's Certificate.
  • QI designation.
