This role is ideal for skilled and reliable clinicians who are passionate about working with medically fragile patients, including children and adults who rely on ventilators. The successful candidate will also have an interest in sales and marketing, demonstrating the ability to drive market growth.
About Life Tech:Life Tech is recognized as one of the fastest-growing providers of home medical equipment in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas, and Wisconsin, specializing in adult, pediatric, and infant respiratory care. We are accredited by ACHC and have received the Quality Respiratory Care Seal of Recognition from AARC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report any misconduct or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer.
- Represent the company professionally in all interactions with clients and patients.
- Develop new business opportunities with potential referral sources and clients as directed.
- Engage in negotiations with referral organizations as needed.
- Enhance existing relationships with referral sources and clients, focusing on customer retention.
- Attend industry events to promote the company’s image and reputation.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and marketing activities, sharing updates with relevant departments.
- Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.
- Contribute to the Company’s Performance Improvement program as requested.
- Engage in continuing education relevant to job responsibilities.
- Deliver and set up respiratory therapy equipment, including oxygen therapy, CPAP/BIPAP, nebulization therapy, and ventilation.
- Demonstrate the use of respiratory therapy equipment to clients and ensure understanding of proper operation.
- Assist in resolving equipment issues during emergencies when necessary.
- Participate in on-call rotation if desired, following company policy.
- Complete documentation of client visits, including reports on clinical progress as needed.
- Report equipment hazards and incidents in compliance with company policy.
- Keep appointment statuses current in the system daily.
- Complete delivery tickets, checklists, and SOAP notes within 48 hours.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the VP of Business Development.
Qualifications:
- RCP/RRT with valid state license(s).
- Strong interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
- Minimum of two years of experience in the home medical equipment or home health industry, with a preference for sales and marketing experience.
- Familiarity with third-party payer policies.
- Proficient in computer skills, including word processing and effective use of the Internet and email.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Background check and drug screening are mandatory for all employees.
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: $75,000 - $81,000 annually
