Job Summary

PD Systems LLC is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of warehousing duties, including verifying materials, noting discrepancies, and routing materials to prescribed storage locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify materials against receiving documents and report discrepancies
  • Route materials to prescribed storage locations and store, stack, or palletize materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods
  • Examine stored materials and report deterioration and damage
  • Remove material from storage and prepare it for shipment
  • Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of U.S. Army procedures and logistics information systems
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to perform various production control activities, including gathering and filing records, reporting on use of materials, and monitoring customer requests
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be able to walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for extended periods throughout the day
  • Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee, and reach above/below shoulders
  • Must be able to type using a standard keyboard to communicate through email and various software applications
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull minimum of 30 pounds
  • Must be able to work in a shop where the environment is drafty, noisy, and dirty
  • May be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment
  • Must have or be able to obtain a forklift license
  • NACI/CAC Required
  • Must provide a signed DD Form 3150 to confirm COVID-19 vaccination status and provide proof of vaccination

Preferred Qualifications:

A strong understanding of the Army Installation Support Module (ISM) process is a plus.
