FACILITIES MAINTENANCE LEADER

Join the esteemed Lewis Group of Companies as we seek a skilled and dedicated Facilities Maintenance Leader to oversee operations at one of our thriving residential communities. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth functioning of our properties, which include a variety of living spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor the Maintenance and Grounds team, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive maintenance expertise across various trades including carpentry, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, painting, and appliance installation and repair.
  • Prepare units for new residents, ensuring high standards of readiness and cleanliness.
  • Collaborate closely with community management and staff to maintain operational excellence.
  • Conduct property inspections alongside management to uphold community standards.
  • Address maintenance requests from current residents promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Oversee the upkeep of the leasing office and recreational facilities.
  • Note: A valid driver's license and auto insurance are required for operational purposes.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and transport heavy items as necessary.
  • Capable of bending, stooping, and walking throughout the community.
  • Comfortable ascending and descending stairs and ladders as needed.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and residents.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The starting hourly wage for this position is $33+ per hour, commensurate with experience, along with eligibility for annual bonuses and raises. Additional benefits include a $100/month cell phone allowance, over $700 in tools provided for your role, uniforms, training opportunities, apartment discounts, and robust corporate support.
