Nursing Professionals Wanted for Short-Term Assignments in Louisiana

We are seeking energetic and self-directed nursing staff to join our team at Willis Knighton Health, the largest state-of-the-art acute care facility in Louisiana. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on various units, including Medical Surgical, Step-Down, and Critical Care.
SalaryRates competitive with agency, with estimated salaries ranging from $60,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
Your general orientation will start in our Career Institute, followed by a more unit-specific individualized program with a preceptor. We offer a 5:1 and 6:1 ratio on our Medical Surgical units, 3:1 ratio on step-down, and a 2:1 ratio in our critical care units.
Job DescriptionAs a nursing professional, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a wide range of patients and medical conditions.
Our Winter Option offers nurses with a minimum of 2 years of experience the opportunity to do a short-term contract and convert to Daily Option/PRN after an 18-week assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain experience or enhance their skills in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, ACLS preferred, and hold current or eligible licensure in Louisiana. A strong desire to work in a team-oriented environment and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations are essential.
