About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Preschool Educator to join our team at Youth In Need. As a Preschool Educator, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming classroom environment that fosters the growth and development of young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in children
  • Establish and maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning and exploration
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning experience for children
  • Provide responsive care and support to children's physical, emotional, and social needs
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive and respectful learning environment
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development from an accredited college/university
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a Head Start program or a licensed community childcare program
  • Driver's License and ability to be CPR certified
