Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Medical City Healthcare. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning and providing individualized goal-directed nursing care that promotes, advocates for, and strives to protect the health, safety, and rights of the individual, family, and community. The nurse possesses knowledge of the principles of growth and development and the particular skills necessary to provide optimum patient care to the population for which he or she is employed.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and outcomes.
- Current Texas State RN License or compact license required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
