Special Education Teacher Role Available

Soliant is looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time role within a school district. This position is centered on assisting middle school students with intellectual disabilities in a specialized classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored instruction to middle school students in a specialized classroom.
  • Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) customized to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Work collaboratively with other educators, support personnel, and service providers to foster a positive and effective educational atmosphere.
  • Track student progress and modify teaching methods as necessary to achieve individual learning objectives.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student development and any concerns.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid South Carolina Special Education certification.
  • Experience in working with students with intellectual disabilities in a specialized setting.
  • Strong knowledge of IEP creation and execution.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment.

This is a full-time position, requiring a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
