Key Responsibilities:- Deliver direct, age-specific care to patients based on medical orders and an integrated, multidisciplinary plan of care.
- Safely administer prescribed medications, identifying any incompatibilities or interactions.
- Assist the healthcare team with the prevention of illness and injury, maintenance of wellness, and provision of comfort.
- Provide direction, education, and begin to assume leadership responsibilities at the unit level.
- Accurately document all care provided in patient records.
- Current LPN licensure in Virginia or eligibility for licensure.
- AHA BLS Certification or equivalent.
- Experience requirements vary based on transitional duty assignment.
- Preferred experience as an LPN in an acute care setting or applicable area of practice.
- Graduate from a Board of Nursing approved School of Practical Nursing.
- Full-time position with 40 scheduled weekly hours.
- $10,000 sign-on bonus available for eligible candidates.
