Staff Today is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to fill a local contract position in Missouri.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients in a safe and efficient manner
  • Prepare patients for blood draws by explaining the procedure and answering any questions they may have
  • Use aseptic technique to prevent infection and ensure patient safety
  • Label and transport blood samples to the laboratory for testing
  • Maintain accurate records of blood samples collected and patient information
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Phlebotomy certification or training required
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Phlebotomist preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
