Requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; 1-3 years of experience teaching in a group setting preferred.
  • Certifications: Current CPR certification required; national certification in group exercise and/or aerobics preferred; specialty certification required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to demonstrate physical skills of balance, coordination, and agility.
  • Abilities: Teach a variety of class types and fitness levels; fitness level of cardiovascular and muscular strength, endurance, and flexibility.
