Job Summary

Gentex Corporation is seeking a highly skilled QC Inspector Level 1 to join our team. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for inspecting all Gentex products and purchased materials to ensure they meet the required specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect products visually and dimensionally to ensure compliance with contract requirements, shop orders, and military specifications.
  • Examine purchased parts and manufactured products to ensure they meet the required specifications.
  • Identify and document any defects or non-conformities.
  • Initiate non-conformance reports and carry out dispositions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality control activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality control procedures are followed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of related experience and/or training preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to customers and colleagues.
Work Environment

This role is based in our Carbondale facility in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
