Job Summary

Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Palmyra. As an LPN, you will provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or provider. This is a full-time position with a varied shift schedule, including hours from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Responsibilities
  • Observe, report, and record medical information and nursing care provided in the electronic medical record.
  • Instruct patients and families according to teaching plans.
  • Communicate with the healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of individualized patient care.
Requirements
  • Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to completion of orientation.
