Shipper Coordinator

As a Shipper, you will play a critical role in preparing our CGIT Bus System for shipping. This involves working closely with our team to ensure that all materials are properly packaged and loaded onto trucks.

• With direction, create custom dunnage and boxes from wood or steel to meet specific shipping requirements.
• Move finished materials and raw materials as needed, ensuring efficient workflow and minimizing delays.
• Load and unload trucks, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
• Assemble and install shipping caps to ensure secure transportation.
• Understand and use crane hand signals to facilitate safe and efficient material handling.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, storing tools in their designated locations.

• Massachusetts Operating Engineers 1B license
• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Ability to read tape measures and blueprints
• Experience with overhead cranes, ratchet straps, rubber hammers, stencils, tape measures, wood saws, drills, pneumatic tools, fork trucks, acetylene torches, and hand tools
• Ability to work outdoors in various temperatures
