About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Ensign Therapy. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our skilled nursing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify physical functioning disorders and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care.
  • Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care.
  • Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to physical disorders.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided.
Requirements
  • IA Licensed Physical Therapist
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric outpatient therapy setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
