Wood Yard Logistics Specialist

Iowa Wood Preservers is a leading supplier of wood preservation products in the Midwest area. We specialize in pressure treating wood to provide quality builder-grade lumber that is long-lasting, safe, and cost-effective. As a forklift operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of lumber around our yard. Your responsibilities will include unloading materials from trucks and rail cars, locating lumber on the yard, and moving materials to storage or for shipment. You will also be responsible for daily inspections and recordkeeping on the lift machine, as well as reporting any needed repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload materials from incoming trucks and/or rail cars.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Perform daily inspections on the lift machine.
- Load and unload lumber safely and efficiently.
Benefits:
- A competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
